- SYMPTOMS may first be the swelling of the upper eyelids then there may be
- eye pain, hemorrhage of the retina and sensitivity to light. Other signs may
- include muscle pain and soreness, lymph node swelling, chills, fever, hives,
- profuse sweating, thirst, weakness, prostration, meningitis or encephalitis.
- CAUSES are from eating pork or pork products that are not properly cooked.
- TREATMENT. Prescribed medication and bed rest.
